Aniseed Essential Oil is a warm, sweet, liquorice-like oil steam distilled from the seeds of Illicium verum. Its bold, comforting aroma is both uplifting and stimulating, with a distinctly spicy-sweet character that brings clarity and brightness to blends.
Traditionally used in aromatic applications for its invigorating scent profile, Aniseed is a wonderful supporting oil in spicy, herbal, and fresh blends. Its strong personality means it is best used sparingly, where it adds depth and a distinctive sweetness without overpowering.
Blends well with:
Cedarwood, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Lavender, and other warm, woody or fresh herbal oils.

How to use
• Aromatherapy: Add 1–2 drops to a diffuser blend to create a warm, energising atmosphere.
• Blending: Use in very small amounts to enhance spicy or herbal formulations.
• Topical (diluted): Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil for aromatic use.
Not recommended for frequent or prolonged topical use.

• Store in a cool, dark place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
